Getting Started with NasDash

The shortest path to a clean and recoverable installation.

For a new installation, the recommended method uses the published image, Docker Compose, and the ./data folder.

  1. Verify the prerequisites.
  2. Download the deployment files; no .env is required for a default first start.
  3. Choose the storage before the first startup.
  4. Start the Docker installation.
  5. Retrieve or use your initial credentials.
  6. Review the production configuration.
  7. Create your first backup before connecting integrations.
