Dashboard

Understand the home view, the dock, placements, and edit mode.

The home view combines service categories, monitored devices, and widgets. The dock provides access to the main views: home, Docker, network, and custom tabs.

  1. Open Settings with an administrator account.
  2. Create the categories first, then the services.
  3. Add the monitored devices.
  4. Place the useful widgets and remove duplicates.
  5. Verify the result with a reader account.

The home view placements determine the order and composition. Widgets have their own options and can also be used in free tabs.

Design for small screens

Keep critical data at the top, limit the number of very wide widgets, and verify the mobile rendering after each reorganization.
