Quotes
Show your own quotes, or an online source, in a typographic style.
The Quotes widget shows one quote and changes it every day, every hour or at each visit. Previous, next and copy appear when the pointer is over it.
Sources
Open Settings → Widgets → Quotes:
- My quotes: type a quote and, optionally, its author;
- Online source: turn on ZenQuotes to add its quotes (in English, refreshed every six hours, credited under the quote).
Without any quote or source, the widget shows an example in the interface language.
Styles
Choose in the widget settings: Literary, Quill, Calligraphy, Pen, Typewriter or Modern. Each style uses its own typeface, loaded only when a widget uses it. Quotation marks follow the language of the quote: « » in French, „ “ in German, “ ” in English. The text can be aligned left, centred or right, and the author can be hidden.
Colours follow the theme. The public demo uses fictional online quotes.
