Demo Mode

Understand the fictional data, browser isolation, and simulated actions.

The public NasDash demo runs the same product with NASDASH_DEMO_MODE=true and specific safeguards.

  • Fictional data only;
  • Browser-isolated and temporary state, lasting approximately 30 minutes;
  • Simulated integrations and actions;
  • No connection to your Docker, Tailscale, Proxmox, or calendar;
  • No real data to enter.

The docker-compose.demo.yml Compose file is used to run this variant. Do not convert a production instance into a demo, and never provide real secrets to a public demo.
